Maybe the dad would have done a better option to leave him there!  ;D

The article said that the kid "wasn't traumatized".

50 cents could have given him well deserved nightmares about "THE CLAW" for years to come...

The boy was not injured or traumatized but desperately had to go to the bathroom, he said.

I sense a potentially serious "eeeeeeeew!" moment in the making here. I am curious how he managed to get in, most of the chutes are rigged so that you can't even get an arm in the prize area, let alone an entire body.

I think the mechanism that is usually employed to keep people from reaching in is a human head and and torso.  They just make the shoot too long for anyone to reach up to the stuffed animals.

Perhaps the way to win at the claw game is much easier than we thought.  Just get a small springy dog that likes to fetch and send him up the chute...

(This is a joke and I do not advocate anyone actually trying it.  That would be theft, plain and simple.  Might be fun to try and catch the live dog with the claw though...)

Hmmm.. a claw game where you try to grab puppies and kittens!

Now THERE is an idea for a pet store value-added device!

Inaba- Not quite puppies and kittens, but probably as close as you're going to get:

I was hoping the article would say:
"After the father ran out of quarters, he was forced to call the fire department."
This opinion was created from 100% post consumed information.

play the game for 4+ rounds. It gets all dark and starts to play the thriller music.
