Crazy Taxi 3 (PC) won't recognize my wheel
« on: July 30, 2015, 11:49:23 pm »
I have a strange issue with my Xbox 360 Wheel. When I go to configure Crazy Taxi 3, it doesn't recognize that my steering wheel is available. I can turn on a normal X360 controller and it works just fine.  Most of my other controllers show up as well.  I tried mapping the wheel to a virtual joystick (Vjoy) but the program doesn't recognize that either.  The wheel works fine with everything else. Any thoughts on how to get it to work? The pedals and buttons are fine as I can just map those to keyboard strokes.

Have you tried routing it through x360ce?

I did but it didn't work, unfortunately.  The Crazy Taxi 3 folder doesn't have any .dll files in it so I don't think the program even looks at the X360CE files.

Bummer. I have a 360 wheel attached to one of my PCs but no CT3 on it. I have it on a different one though. I'll give it a go this weekend some time and report back if I got it working.

Yeah this is pretty annoying. Unfortunately I can't get x360ce to work on this computer...it gives me assembly errors on launch. I can confirm that the 360 wheel doesn't show up in the list of game controllers at all, which is unfortunate since I was going to try to get CT3 running on this pc in the near future...

Ok, thank you for confirming.
