What's the general review of these PS2 a Timer boards?

I'm looking to hook up a ps2 to my cab and am debating using ultimarc for my items or these cheaper timer boards. Do any of you have an opinion good or bad on the timer boards from Hong Kong?

these ps2 and xbox chinaboards are ultra lowend quality with poor cables and connectors .  i have 3 ps2 boards here ( free stuff for testing ) and none of em worked out of the box as expected . prepare to rewire the jamma harness or it wont work at all .  the china board isnt worth 10 dollar .

so i ended up buying a 2 euro digital all common ground ps1 pad and soldered it to a connector .

Thx, although I would only need them for the video side: ie: ps2 to jamma connector. I'm using quasicade for the controller side. Does this adequately do what I need it to on the video/sound side?

i plugged it in a new astro city with jamma harness and vid and sound worked .  if u can aquire one for free or cheap u may give it a try , but i wouldnt pay much for the crap . the wires are very thin and should be handled carefuly . why not solder something out of a simple rgb playstation cable and a jamma fingerboard ?

I would love to do that but I'm not sure how. How would I setup a microphone out to my pc style speakers on the fingerboard?

Currently if my xbox does not have the ipac controller cables plugged in the screen becomes almost too dark to see.

Any tuts online for this unique setup?
