It's worth what YOU would pay for it.

What's the condition?

Actually,  if it's near mint or nicely restored, $1000 wouldn't be out of range for a title like TRON.

I passed one up late fall last year for $250 as it had been sitting in a unheated, but enclosed deck, it looked like crap. I know the guy who bought it, and have seen it, was a HUGE mistake on my part. Pictures where horrible, machine was above average shape, just looked like hell in pictures as it hadn't been cleaned up in maybe 5 years. But most here have it right, what is it worth to YOU? Depending on where you live how many more will you see for sale? I have been in the market for a Tempest, and all i have is empty spot for it and 4-5 sad stories about my stingy --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules-- not buying one I would grab in a heartbeat now. I'm getting close to one of those cross country trips and paying to much.

not much to me, not really a fan of the game. There are very few games I'd pay a grand or more for. I just picked up a virtua cop that needs a little love for $250!
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Remember, it's only worth about a grand if it's already been fully restored. There's a lot of art to buy for that cabinet if you want to restore it yourself. If I had a thousand, and it was a minty restored cab, I'd probably pull the trigger because I love the game. But if I had to do it all myself, probably no more than 200.

The artwork on a Tron is worth over $600 alone...

Exactly. It's a premium game. Some guys get it for the cab alone, regardless on how they feel about the game.
