neo geo wiring for the credit lights........
« on: July 09, 2015, 11:18:28 am »
think im gonna gut my neo geo 6 slot cab and make a jamma atomiswave out of it.........I want to keep the lighted credits still working on the control panel....is there a wiring diagram for them? what voltage powers them? I don't care if it stays on "0", just as long as they are lit....
can I just supply power to the board to keep the "0" or is there more to it than that?

If that be the case then just probe it with a multimeter. But its pointless if it won't be functional.

Get an LED graphic printed and back light it. Same effect less pain in the ass

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

I've looked at those boards and the circuit uses a couple of BCD encoders.  So I am thinking you could simply supply a power and ground to the appropriate pins and then just tie all the signal lines low and they should display zeroes.

It means to attach all the signal lines to ground, guaranteeing a 0 voltage.
