Laser Disc Question Pioneer CLD-3070

I picked one of these up at a local auction for $3 and want to know if it'll play the old laser disc games.  I've been trying to search online for a week or so but thus far am uncertain.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Any laserdisc player will play the video. However you need the game's circuit board to play the game.

Since when?   

You can use Daphne, and hook up a LDP.   

As long as it is arcade supported (excluding exotics) you can play them.

If the unit has a RS232 out, you are in business, but I think the OP's LD is a consumer version.

RS232 out, I knew there was something needed to play the games.

Sadly this LDP doesn't have one.

Since you have that unit, might as well grab the user and service manuals from http://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/pioneer/cld-3070.shtml

The service manual is extremely detailed and goes into a lot of depth on the operation of the different IC and the unit itself as a whole.

This isn't to suggest you can hack in RS232 out. I'm just offering this since having a service manual for anything I own makes life a hell of a lot easier when trying to fix something I happen to like.
