Greyhound skill crane issue
« on: June 08, 2015, 11:10:22 pm »
Hey everybody first let me say, it's been too long. I haven't been on here in about 3 years and I know I know I never should have left but I sold my cabinets and moved on from collecting arcade games. BUT recently decided on picking up a greyhound skill crane. The person selling it says it's broken and just needs " tinkering " to get it up and working he also sent me a video link showing everything that's going on with the machine so I'm hoping somebody here can maybe let me know what's going on and how hard it's gonna be to fix before I purchase it! Thanks everyone

No expert here, but when I got mine it was acting strange.  First I cleaned the contacts on the board, second I changed the belts and micro switches on the top carriage.  Worked fine after that.  From the video, I hear motors running which indicate belts slipping and/or the micro switches are not being activated to stop the motor and let the process continue.

No expert!!!
