Ir gun cabinet to mame

Is it possible to have a mame setup with original arcade guns?  I have a existing cabinet with a nice 25" crt I'd love to keep going.

Yes.

If you want to use original arcade guns the best option is to pick up a USB2GUN interface.  Finding one is the trick.  You might reach out to Purple Tophat in this thread: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=140666.0
