  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hello! :)

I'm a little confused on what the -5V line does on the Jamma harness.
My another pandora board arrived today and I'm setting up my MK1 hardness to work for both MK1 and Pandora (molex plus as a switch for kick harness!  >:D )

So i can just swap and go with just the molex change and jamma plug.

the only sticking point I have is the -5V line. The Pandora does not use it, MK1 does. Can I leave it alone and plug into Pandora and what does it actually do?

Its pin 5 and pin E on hardness.

Thanks!!

Malenko

You have to have the -5V or MK wont work.

Looks like Pandora bootleg has no connection on its wiring diagram. I cant say for certain that having the -5V there would or wouldnt damage the board, but you could wire the -5V to a toggle switch and just turn it off when using the Pandora bootleg board.

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.
