Where to buy good tmolding?
« on: May 19, 2015, 12:10:12 am »
Can anyone give me advice on where to buy good quality t molding?
Im looking for 3/4 in blue, yellow, red, orange. i really dont know what the middle part of the molding its called, but last time i bought some tmolding at https://www.gamemolding.com/ they sell one with a 1/16 middle part size so my regular 1/8 router bit was way to big for it, so i had to buy a new router bit in order to use the 500 ft i bought from them, but i really didnt like the tmolding as it dosnt feel thik enough... thanks for any advice.

Ive gotten modling from www.t-molding.com www.gamemolding.com and even twisted quarter. The barb has always been the same from all of them. Ive never had 1/16th wide barb on a 3/4" wide piece.

Then i must to got an chinese mock up tmolding, i can speak for my self, im used to buy some nice thick and soft tomolding with a thick 1/8 barb, the tmolding i just got ,its to thin and (cant find the word to describe, its not hard  but not soft also) and i bought a 1/16 ruter bit so it will fit nice and fit in the slot.  Once installed, you can tell the diference betwen good quality tmolding and this chinese mockup. You can tell the diference as the good quality looks nice and smooth, and this ugly tmolding looks all beaten. Also when i cut in betwen the corners, with good quality tmolding, i need to apply certain amount of tension to cut the barb, with this low quality, the nife cuts it like butter.....
After watching the picture, i think im confusing Barb with the slot.
