Converting Shooting Arcade to MAME
« on: May 17, 2015, 03:14:39 pm »
I just bought a Shooting USA arcade cabinet. I would like to convert it to MAME but also keep the option to play it stock. From what I have gathered, I need to get a Jpac in order to hook-up the Arcade monitor to a pc.

However, I am not too sure what is the best route for the control panel. I will need to 2 joysticks and 6 buttons each. However, the current JAMMA connections do not have any buttons (see img link below). What is the best way to wire the new controls? Add them to the existing JAMMA or add an Ipac to the Jpac? Thanks
