MiniPAC Wiring Harness
« on: May 14, 2015, 08:57:50 pm »
Ok I'm completely new to wiring an arcade control panel so if this question comes across as stupid then I apologize. I recently purchased the MiniPAC standard with harness. I have less buttons than I need wires. What do I do with the excess? Do they just hang inside the cab in case I want to add on to the panel? Or do I need to buy some more buttons? This question also applies to the ground "daisy-chain". Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You don't need to add any more buttons than you want. I would just zip tie any extra connections together and leave them inside the CP. The button connections can be in one bundle and the ground connections in another. As long as those bundles don't touch anything else or each other, you won't have any problems.
