Mame-Jpac issue.
« on: May 07, 2015, 03:45:58 am »
Hello,

I have recently set up the jpac via usb to PC but there is an issue with the player 1 joystick and buttons. They are completely messed up and not doing as they are told. I have even tried to configure in mame to no avail. If I press up on joystick for it to register it is still saying it is using the keyboard up key? I can't get player up to register up on the joystick at all, button 2 is registered as up. Im confused as to how player two has mapped automatically while player 1 is has went bonkers. Can anyone help?

The self test light is solid green so working fine I think. Player 2 is fine.

Is there something I am missing?

Note- Im only using Jpac for controls only. My video is running from PC to LCD screen.

Thanks,

Dave.

The best thing to do first is to test everything outside of Mame.

If you drop me an email at andy@ultimarc.com I am sure we can sort the problem.
