Arcade Warehouse Raid - 110+ Games coming up for sale! (DFW)
« on: April 06, 2015, 06:10:13 pm »
I should have posted this here sooner as most of the discussion so far has taken place over on Klov.

New series of videos revolving around a large lot of arcade video games purchased in the Dallas area at the end of February.  We gave ourselves 90 days to clean, repair, restore and sell those games we don't plan to keep!

I'll link the first video in the series as well as the latest one I just shot yesterday.  It lists the games I have for sale as well as a general timeline of all games coming up for sale over the next few months.  If you have the time, I recommend watching them in order, as I refer to prior videos a lot when shooting.  The second video in the series goes through the mountain of parts we got as well.  The last one talks through the artwork coming up for sale.  Of the 44 games we have listed so far, 41 have sold so we have very fair prices.  Shoot me an offer on a game if I don't talk specifically about the price!

Original video with the backstory on the raid as well as the full lot of what we used to have.

New video posted today with what we have currently for sale as well as coming up soon!

Thanks!   8)

So instead of just glancing at text and seeing instantly if I am interested, I'm expected to sit through multiple videos and hope I catch the info I'm after is it star wipes by?  Got it.  I'm agreeing with PBJ.

wow, so much hate on these forums...

Here is the list.  They aren't priced because they don't all work 100% yet.  How can I price something when I have no idea what the end result will be after I get it running???  I assumed that a video showing condition would be most important.  That and the fact that 44 of 48 listed for sale are sold.  We aren't giving them away, but they aren't priced at retail either.  The videos also go through the mountains of parts we have.

Don't mind PBJ. He's got to make Amarillo by morning and isn't thinking clearly.

PBJ's 'hate' is justified.  Arcadegeek may have all the intention in the world to sell these games.  But I have been on here too long not too see something like this pop up before.  Over the course of being here over three years about every 8 months someone comes on here and claims they have found this huge mother load of all these games.  A proverbial holy grail if you will.  And its amazing how many rare or wanted appear in that persons list.  I'm really surprised in the lists we haven't encountered a Polybius or two.   >:D

Then two days to two weeks later we find out that the OP doesn't even own any of the games and it turns into "Oh.  They belonged to a friend of a friend.  And now they aren't for sale."  The said OP disappears and is never heard from again.

So, yes, PBJ may being giving the cold shoulder but when people come on here and have a low post count just to ply their wears it should not be a big surprise that there is some negativity.

A post count shouldn't be a concern for anyone.  The games are real and are really for sale...  All you have to do is click the link to the videos and you will see them for yourself.  You can also search my name on Klov, eBay, etc and see that I have plenty of feedback that should put any additional concerns to bed.  While people may have done shady things in the past, I can assure you that isn't the case here.  I will happily refer anyone to others who have purchased from me over the last few weeks.

If you don't want to buy the games, then so be it.  Someone else will as they are all priced to sell.

At this point, I'm just going to respond to posts from people that are actually interested in something.  No longer feeding the trolls.  Shoot me a pm here or hit me up on Klov if you would like to know more.

Thanks for looking.  :)

I know TheArcadeGeek from KLOV. He's a good dude and doesn't need to be treated with such "negativity".

To be fair, you only edited that in after his first post asking for it. I was looking for the location as well.

Yikes! A SW cabinet with nothing but art, a yoke and maybe AR2 boards is $750!
