Ideas or comments for art
« on: December 26, 2003, 12:18:18 am »
Hey all, these are actually just prototypes but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or comments bout these two overlays.  The whole base is that I'm building 2 solo sticks, one using a red sanwa joystick with red competition pushbuttons, and another using a green sanwa joystick with green competition pushbuttons.  They will both be flat on top with t-molding all around the side, 5/8" wood w/ 1/8" lexan on top, and an overlay squeezed between em.  They will be somewhat square with the corners rounded slightly.

Hi!

Well, i think that the "mixed" characters is confusing but ok if you like it that way! It's a cute, nice and clean job! :)

PS: At least you haven't inserted a huge mame logo, i hate that!  :P

I really like the ghosted images and the scanlines in the background. Nice and clean. Good solid job. :) Looking forward to seeing them with the controls in place.

They look great, where did you get the art for those... I assume you scanned them yourself? But that looks great!

THe artwork is great looking
The only issue I can foresee is that depending on placement of buttons and sticks, it may appear that one of the fellows may have a gigantic uh, "joystick" if ya catch my drift

Haha, that's very true, I think I'm gonna change the layout somewhat though, so there's just one main character and a bunch of characters in little hexagon thingies.  Shapes always make things look more complicated.
-who knows when I'll get this project together, hopefully soon
