Canadian (west coast) builders where to get parts
« on: April 01, 2015, 02:44:07 pm »
I'm just wondering where most of you fellow Canadian builders get your control panel parts like joysticks and buttons?

I know there is The Playdium Store in Toronto.

Are there other places you would deal with US or Canadian base to get your parts?  More specifically buttons and joysticks.

Thanks in advance.

  • it is what it is..."Nobody Said It Was Easy"....
Shipping something from the U.S. to Canada for repair/exchange?  Please use USPS to avoid (additional?/excessive?) shipping charges.  PM me if you have any questions.

Canadian Joysticks is here in Vancouver. They carry mainly Japanese parts (sanwa, seimitsu), so if you're looking for that style, these guys are probably your best choice.

Forum member Rick also recently put up his webstore, and he carries a bunch of parts as well. Rick is in Ontario, but at least it's domestic shipping.

Been there many times and have been watching that board for a while now.

Are there only a handful of vendors who actually sell parts for this hobby?

Thanks.

I will check out both Canadian Joysticks and GameRoomDesigns
