Not correct.

Hard drives sizes:
30 GB - 4 || 40 GB - 8
60 GB - 1 || 80 GB - 7

Could be. Probably is. but a pc with no hard drive cost next to nothing (sometimes nothing)

I've hit the point where if it uses ide I go with an SD card adaptor and a class 10 card and Linux.
If it can do sata I go with a small cheap ssd for netbooks.

I avoid mechanical hard drives now for my projects.

If you are building a project that you want to use for at least 3 or 4 years why go for a Krap drive.   Go for something newer and save yourself the grief.

Well I do have a few old sata drives from laptops laying around with Windows on them. And everything from the previous owners. I wouldn't mind parting with.
