Skipped the kitchen counter material and went straight to the cutting board.

Extremely cool and amazing craftsmanship.

Anyone else notice that there is a only a player 2 start button? No player 1 start of coin door/buttons. Is this for a specific non arcade game?

It always perplexes me how beautiful a cab can be, but how horrendous the wiring job is inside.  Ah well, we all know i'm just picky for those things.    :dunno

Chance:  I'm going to be completing the wiring for my cabinet pretty soon, and that's an item I would like to make as clean as possible.  Any recommendations on the best materials to use for this / who you'd recommend I buy from?

Stranded wire, 20-22AWG. Buy extra, measure many cut once. I use Velcro tape and staples to attach to my cab. As well as small black zip ties for when I make prebuilt wire snakes. I also try to avoid those little sticky zip tie pylons.  Take your time, use proper tools, and the wire might need to be worked a little when it comes off the spool.

I buy my stuff local from MRO Electronics here in Calgary. If you can't find local you could try eBay or Amazon.

http://www.prowireusa.com/ sells many different colored mil spec wires with many different colored stripes. Sale available by foot or spool. Every connection could have its own color code, making a trace back dead simple. Just an idea.

from what I can gather, the winnitron network is an opensource movement where you can install a front end that downloads opensource Indy arcade like games providing you put the cabinet in a public business/space for all to enjoy.
I think.

so you don't need those buttons.

I try to use all black wire. Just looks cool. I use a multimeter to test, and a silver sharpie marker if I need to mark certain things.  The microswitch dissconects I use came from eBay.
