Need HELP with AMI G
« on: March 12, 2015, 06:40:04 pm »
Team,

I'm FRUSTRATED!  I have an AMI G got it last week  I replaced all the rubber wire (Crumbled) replaced the rectifier put in a 25amp 400 volt and added a inline 1 amp fuse between the transformer and the new rectifier.  I have DC at the credit unit and it's working as it should,  I have 32 volts (should be 28?) at the mech junction box.  The selection buttons work and when you push one the lever/pin on the mech pops up as it should .  This pops the fuse in the junction box killing the carriage motor before it has a chance to start scanning for a selection lever/pin.   If I manually unselect the lever, replace the fuse in the junction box and push the red button on the mech junction box the carriage motor moves as it should.  So I'm stuck.  I can't get past selecting and onto the carriage motor moving the turntable to said selection.  Is it possible that the 32 volts is simply too much and causing the fuse to pop on the junction box killing my mech motor or do I have another issue causing this?  I just want to Rock N Roll can someone throw me a bone here??
