Playing Mame - Touchmaster on a Tablet
« on: February 24, 2015, 09:46:35 am »
I'm struggling getting Touchmaster to work on a Windows 8.1 tablet. I have it running on a jukebox, so I know the rom works. I must be missing some step. This is what I've done so far:

  • Enabled lightgun in the mame.ini file
  • Tried command line mame, MAME32, MAMEUI and enabled the lightgun from the controllers properties file

Any ideas? On my jukebox, I'm using Windows XP and a ELO touchscreen. I just figured the touchscreen needs to act like a mouse, but I can't get it to work. If you have it working on a tablet, let me know because I'm starting to think it's impossible. If you can, please post your mame.ini so I can double check my settings.

They are starting to add multiplayer touch support in some of these new devices whereas older systems were limited to one single system mouse click.

Using multimouse (raw input) might make a difference.

Just a shot in the dark.  I have no personal experience with it.
