Author Topic: 2 in 1 Jamma switch with Trackball switching.... Almost. Need help.  (Read 1254 times)

  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
I have two games that I am putting in the same cabinet.  Golden Tee 2005 and Silver Strike Bowling.  I am using the below pictured Jamma Switcher, which works great for everything except the trackball:



So I read on another forum that one person was able to route the trackball wiring through some of the open Jamma ports (V, W, X, and Y) and achieve success.  Here is the post:

So gave it a shot, and oddly enough everything works except... It is only recognizing the up and down movements of the trackball.  It is not recognizing left or right movements.  I'm so close, but just not sure what is hanging me up here.  Below is a diagram of the wiring through the Jamma Harness, Jamma Switch, and Trackball.



Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
