MayFlash Dolphin Bar Help
« on: February 14, 2015, 06:18:10 pm »
I have just gotten a Mayflash dolphin bar and have been trying to set it up with MAME but am having a few issues. The tracking is perfect until i start firing on Operation wolf and then it gets a bit 'janky' and have noticed that i have to configure each games control as for some reason MAME is seeing my wii mote as player 3 Gun not player one and final for games where you have to shoot of screen to reload i cant get this to work either despite have ticked the option 'Shoot of screen to reload' in the mame main settings. Any ideas what mode i should have the dolphin bar in (1-4) and how to get mame to see it as player one?

That run-on sentence is epic!

I've been using an actual Wii sensor bar (with spliced cable to connect to USB) on my PC for Dolphin emulation.  Works just fine.  Haven't checked MAME, however.

I use a real Wii sensor bar with a DC/DC Step-Up converter to get the 8.5v from 5v USB. And some random cheapo Bluetooth dongle.

Pair that with Howard's Wiimote Lightgun scripts for Glovepie and it all works great. Never needed anything else.
