Who cares?  Do it anyway.

IF you don't mind waiting for a few weeks for it to arrive you can get them on EBAY from China for about $7 -- I just received one of these the other week for the GameStick I had bought on clearance and it works fine for connecting the GameStick to my Acer Monitor and also has the audio output for a cheap set of Logitech speakers. ( I originally got a $5 HDMI to DVI convertor but that lacked the audio and the gamestick didn't have separate audio outputs and doesn't support the $1 USB Soundcard from China either ! ) -  Linkie to the one I purchased - ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/221588431594?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&var=520447402104&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT )

I just got one of these in:

Which looks to be the same device & it works really well with the RPI1 & my Android stick's.

This will replace the boot text with an image.

Also, PiPlay updated their build for the Pi 2 on the 20th.

Tested them both today. EmulationStation is still better looking than PiPlay.

The burning question for me is how well will it play some of the classics such as tempest and defender......
