CD-100C new selection entered won't play

My Jukebox sometimes with not play a selection. The jukebox will be playing and I enter the next selection but it does not play it. If I unplug the box and power it back on it still will not work. I have to do a computer reset to get it to work again. That's a pain cause I have to go back into service mode and make changes to all my setting I like.
I have a wireless remote and I'm not sure if it has to do with entering selections with it that cause the lock up. The CCC rom chip has been updated to the current one so it will work proper with the wireless remote. Has anybody had this issue before. The only good thing is I can get it back working with the reset. (service mode....power switch off ..holding 1 and 2 key down while turning power slider switch on) The eprom will reboot.
