<RESOLVED>IPac2 Problem
« on: February 08, 2015, 03:12:25 pm »
I have an older PS/2 Ipac2 I bought a few years ago that I'm having a problem with. The IPac won't register any button presses and the LED on it remains lit. I'm using a PS/2 to USB adapter. I checked an older PS/2 keyboard I had laying around and that worked with the adapter. I also plugged the keyboard into the bypass of the IPac and its Num, Caps and Scroll lock LED's kept flashing. Any advice you guys might have would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if the PS/2 to USB adapter needs to be an Active type and not a passthru.

is this a recent problem or has it never worked for you.
no doubt you dont have the proper ultimarc ps2 to usb cable, im not sure u can get away with using an adapter instead.
Andy at Ultimarc could supply you with the proper ps2 to usb cable.
note: it's advised to use the one he supplies rather than getting one off eg. ebay.
