Hi Guys

I was rather hoping that someone may be able to help me with an issue I am having with my cadette.

In the past few weeks, I have been getting no sound at all from the jukebox. The mechanism works fine, records selected without issue and everything else seems to be working as it should, but I dont get any sound at all.

I have tried a few things to see if I can rectify the issue (but keep in mind that I am no technical genius!), these include, removing the tonearm cable and checking for loose connections, de-rigging the amp and checking for power etc and then re-rigging it.

Any help or suggestions anybody could give me would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

We tend to like names on this forum it makes for a better place to visit.

I would remove the mute plug to see if you have mute issues, check the volume control to make sure that is working correctly.
Make sure that there is 110/115 going to the amplifier.

If youi let us know what amplifier model number is fitted it will help with more advice.

Regards
Alan

Hi Alan

Thanks for the reply.

Could you let me know where the mute plug is located?

I will check the amplifier model number tonight and report back tomorrow.

Thanks again.

Hi Guys

My amp is a R-2255A Monaural Amp.

I have taken various pictures of the amp.

If somebody could tell me how to post a photo on here, I would be very grateful.
