Installing Novagem Buttons through the Unreal Coindoor
« on: January 26, 2015, 06:58:53 pm »
Hello members, just wondering if anyone has attempted installing the Novagem coin push buttons from GGG through the Unreal Coin door that Andy at Ultimarc sells. Do they fit? Do they look ok?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Kevin

Why not just get a small blank door from suzo happ and install the buttons in that?

The CDR has exterior dimensions.  My thinking would be to email Randy and see if he will email the dimensions of the coin slots on the 'coin door' and if the cdr's cover the coin slots then I say go for it.

To give you my honest opinion if you are going to all this trouble to make something look half way real why not just get a real one on fleabay or on here.  Put up a WTB in the buy sell trade section and see what you get.  You might get lucky and find one that someone will send your way just for shipping.

Yeah, mine was on a real coin door though.

But I'd imagine it would work for a sticker as well.  I'm trying to search the forum for an example, but can't find it at the moment.  Someone used the sticker and buttons a while back, but they were both from Groovy Game Gear.  Not sure if Andy's will line up the same or not.

Edit:  Found it.  It was BYOAC user ahofle (man my memory is BAD, I should have remembered it was him).  Anyway, here's the link:  http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,70031.msg719826.html#msg719826
