U360 spring change

Hi

I was trying to change the spring on my u360 and watched a dismantling video on youtube but his magnet just seems to pop off where as mine is fixed on somehow .  So now im a little stumped just wondering if ive missed something ?

Use some force. It is quite firmly stuck...

You might need to twist or rock it a little bit.  Be careful though to ensure that you don't create burrs when you're twisting it.

Don't forget to lube your pivot with plumber's silicone grease while you have it dismantled.

Also, when putting it back on make sure it's seated properly and square.  I did some work on mine and noticed these same things.

I'll have another look,  but was frightened of breaking it,  as that magnet wasn't shifting...
