Are these any good for Star Wars yokes ?

Just wondering if these would feel anything like a Star Wars yoke ? I read the specs but I'm not sure if these move in and out or up and down for accent and decent. Its been so long since I've played on a real Star Wars machine that I can't even remember how the original yoke operated. Did it move up & down or in & out ? I seem to remember it moving in & out for accent and decent but not sure. I haven't heard anyone talk about these as a Star Wars yoke alterative so I'm having my doubts but I figured maybe someone around here has one and could give some input.

No, those flight yokes are too slow to make decent star wars controllers. My best friend has a S.T.U.N. Runner, which has the same yoke as Star Wars (except that the STUN Runner yoke only aims up). You steer left and right to steer, and you twist the handles up and down for the up and down part.

It can work VERY fast, much faster than you could move any flight yoke I have ever seen.

I have a star wars yoke, and used a coworkers ch yoke like in the link.

apples and oranges.  Both fruit, but don't taste quite the same ya know?

The yoke for hydra isnt' the same.  It has a scaled Y axis so most of the motion is in the middle....

My best friend has a S.T.U.N. Runner, which has the same yoke as Star Wars (except that the STUN Runner yoke only aims up).

I have a STUN runner yoke and inside there is a small metal plate that restricts the Y-axis.  I removed the plate and now the yoke has the same range of motion as the Star Wars.  I think the STUN Runner yoke is identical to the Star Wars except for this plate and the handles which are the newer type that Happ sells.
