Help me find this cabinet
« on: January 12, 2015, 04:53:12 pm »
Getting closer to starting a build, have most of my software issues worked out, built a mockup of a control panel and have spousal approval to get going. I want to build a slim cab with a 32" LCD (already owned), two player panel with trackball.  I want the lower front panel to have some dimension (ie Blip, Grounds for Divorce) where the coin door will be. I'm sure it's been built multiple times but I can't seem to find one like that. I've gone through the completed projects post, the wiki post and can't find what I want. I have very little design skills but think I could work off of someone else's basic layout. Any help finding this type is appreciated.

Are you thinking about Ond's Metropolis?

Knieval's slim cabs are an extremely popular style.

Looks like it's time to start learning sketchup. Want to combine Metropolis bottom, Knievils control panel, widescreen upper.   Any recommended tutorials for learning sketchup or a good starting point?
