Bells & Whistles
« on: January 01, 2015, 07:20:42 pm »
I'm nearing the completion of my first arcade, a full size cabinet powered with raspberry pi.  I've got the itch to keep going, just curious what types "add-ons" others have done?  Whether software, hardware or cabinet mods?  I was thinking of adding cup holders, or maybe adding a camera and making like a photobooth type app.  Curious what others have done to their cabinets?

You are going to be a trail blazer being it's on a pi.

Trail blazer using a pi in a full sized cabinet? How does that differ from using a pi in a wall mount?

I'd make sure it plays games the way you want them to before I worry about gaming selfies or anything like that.

I read the post as other things than games with a raspi.  Specifically when he mentioned different apps.

Yea, I got all the software/pi related stuff done.  Been playing games on it all week, worked out a few kinks and everything is pretty much good to go.
