need help with Rowe ami 100
« on: December 27, 2014, 09:57:11 pm »
Hi...I'm new to this forum. I recently purchased a1990 Rowe ami cd-100 jukebox. It worked when I purchased it and again after transporting it to another location. Two days ago I turned it on played great. I unplugged it and transported it to my house a few miles away, now it doesn't work and says out if order. I checked the ccc for dry joints and they looked fine.the r2 resistor was blown and I replaced it with a new resistor. I checked the battery and it was showing around 2.5 volts. Still doesn't work. Can someone help?

I'm making these assumptions:

You properly secured the jukebox internal mechanisms for transport as described in the manual?

You transported the jukebox with it standing upright and not laying down?

You removed all the CDs from the machine before transporting?

We just purchased this jukebox and have know post experience with one. What would cause this problem?

We replaced the battery in the ccc. Still saying out of order.
