I am wanting to build a Golden Tee Unplugged and Silver Strike combo with a shared pedestal and one TV monitor.  Since both units are HDMI output to the monitor, I cannot use the Happ Perfect Solution board.  I was thinking of just running two HDMI cables (one from each unit) to the wall mounted monitor and simply changing inputs on the TV with the remote for each game.  The controls are what I am not completely sure about.  I know on my other cabinet, I have a button that is wired to two different inputs without a problem so I was thinking that I could just splice the buttons and roller ball and wire them to both units.  The controls would be shared between  both units,  both units would be on, and the hdmi input on the TV would handle both the audio and video for which game is active.  Will this work or am I missing a major component that I havent thought of?]  I am buying both units on eBay so I dont want to end up worth a non-workable solution.

  • Yep... I built that!!
I had SSB and bean bags in one cab. I used a db25 to switch the controls between the games.

What video converter are you using to get the video output to HDMI?  I'm looking to do something similar with just Golden Tee and have read mixed reviews in video output converters.

Ummm......nevermind.  I had Golden Tee Fore on my mind when I typed this.  I see you are talking GT Unplugged.
