Hard Plastic Cover for pushbutton?
« on: December 15, 2003, 10:34:49 pm »
I installed a happscontrol small round illuminated push button to power up my cabinet on the side of it.  Well I placed it to close to the front and now on ocassion it gets bumped by my knee and powers down the system.  This sucks.

So I was wondering if there was a plastic flip cover that exists that I could install over it so hitting it with my knee would not matter.    Like the plastic covers on the "nuclear red button" in movies.  They open the case and then hit the button.  The plastic casing on some hinge.  Thanks....

Go to your local Home Depot or equivalent store, there will be all kinds of stuff like that in the electrical section and in the section where you get phone wiring.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Also auto parts places like NAPA or Autozone would have them.

You should have put that puppy on the top or back of your cab...

One thing you could do is get a key switch, so you have to turn it with a key to shut down.  Might work...
