Powered USB hubs that power-off with the PC?

Does anyone know of any powered USB hubs that cut power to their ports when the power is cut on their link to the PC? I've been unable to find one. I have an issue where sometimes my Ultrastik joysticks basically freeze up on their programming interface. The joysticks work fine, but the utilities to remap them say there's no joysticks plugged in even though obviously there are. Power cycling them seems to fix the problem reliably, but the hub they're plugged into keeps the ports powered even when the PC side of the connection isn't, so nothing in it ever shuts off.

I may just rig a relay to cut the power to the brick when the PC is off, but a hub that actually powers off on its own would be less work.

Has anyone seen anything like that?

Why not just use a usb PCI card and call it a day?

No slots available for it, and most are only maybe four ports anyway. I've got ... um ... like 13 things plugged in over USB. 14? Something like that. I need a hub.

They sell smart power strips that can turn off power to 4+ devices when power to the main device is cut.

I currently use one to shut off my TV and powered speakers when my PC sleeps/shuts down.  And unlike one I bought locally, these actually have adjuster knobs so you can change the sensitivity.  The other one I had from somewhere else never thought my PC shut down because it must have drawn enough to never trigger it.

You can splice the DC end of your USB Hub AC adaptor to The +5VDC and Ground wire of one of your 4-pin extensions from your PC ATX PSU, this is usually switched 5v and not standby;  No need for additional hardware, just make certain the hub uses 5V input, first.

Ugh not sure why I didn't even think of that. I have a USB power cord running a fan panel in the cab wired up the same way.

I'll have to pull the brick and see what voltage it is. Hopefully its a 5v.

I recently bought an Orico P10-U2 - 10 port hub that seems to cut power to the ports when the computer turns off. Might do the trick for you.
