groovymame configuration

Good evening

where can i find a doc to understand how to configure groovymame?
At this moment i'm trying to use it on a pc with an lcd but after i will understand i will use it with a D9400 wells gardner.

At this moment i installed it, but when i try to launch it i've an error about switchres not able to find the right spec/mode for my monitor: how can i fix it?

You need to create mame.ini, and set:

monitor lcd
aspect 16:9 (or whatever aspect your monitor has)

GM's default config is "monitor generic_15" which obviously expects a 15 kHz monitor, thus the error message.
