Well, I'm happy to say that I've finally gotten this monitor to work. I feel somewhat like a dummy, but I did read on another post as well that a user had to simply change cables. It turns out, the monitor doesn't like the cable it was shipped with! I bought a new DVI-VGA adapter and a new VGA cable and it worked. I found a guide to tweak some of the picture settings and the monitor is looking nice so far.
I can post pictures after I get home from Thanksgiving break.
I do have a couple more issues though and would appreciate the continued help and advice.
1.) Again, using CRT_emudriver and groovyume 0.155, I adjust the monitor to look nice at 640x480p (31.5 khz) but then when I go to run a 15khz game, the picture seems "squished" horizontally with black pillar bars on either side and the screen is also pin-cushioned. Should I adjust the screen for a 640x480i display instead? Then what would happen when I would play a VGA game? Would it be overly stretched?
2.) I suppose Windows XP x64 edition boots at 800x600? The screen is fuzzy when the bios screen first starts, but then when the windows xp logo comes up, it looks fine. I assume I should simply wait to power on the monitor correct?
I know he's on this forum as well, but MK3Fan, through facebook, has been a big help to me as well.
