  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
UPDATE: I found one.  Thanks for the help everyone!

So I finally got started on my 2 mame cab builds and I've made my first major mistake.  While trying to clean up the coin door I completely destroyed the frame.  The original is a Coin Controls over under from a Dynamo HS-5 cabinet.  I'm guessing I'll need a new frame (if they match) or an entire unit.  The unit was complete except for the removable coin bin so I still have all the other parts.

As for what I have to trade since I'm just starting I don't have much in the way of arcade parts.  I do have a tron control panel that I planned on selling (needed the controls but not the panel) but its probably worth more than a coin door.  I do have a TON of computer parts since I've been in IT (both as a hobby and profession) for nearly 20 years. Come to think of it I have a lot of misc. electronics laying around so if you have one and might want to trade drop me a line and let me know what you might need.

Thanks!

post a picture of what you need.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

I should have included that in the first place shouldn't I?   :banghead:  I forgot I had a picture from before I destroyed it.  This is of a Dynmo HS-5 cab.  What I need is just the frame part that mounts to the cabinet.  The doors and coin-mechs that attach to it are undamaged.  If I can't find a frame to match then I'll have to replace it with an entire coin door that will fit in that hole.  I really don't want to have to modify a door or the front panel to make a different one fit.

Go to arcadecenter.com, join the mailing list, and post on there.  They're having a show in a couple of weeks and somebody or another will hook you up.
