Grinkers, Grinkfest - Anyone else here?

I'm hanging with the KLOV crew up in Eagle (Boise-ish) area for an arcade tournament and $1 craft beer.  Anyone else from BYOAC up here?

I played games for a few hours last night and this place is awesome.  The games are in better shape that 1up or funspot.

I wish I was there.  Too much stuff going on this weekend to travel a few states over.  I'm sure John, Phet, and Jow seem to be having a great time there!

I checked into going, but the $1K plane ticket was problematic. As a long-time fan of John's Arcade YouTube channel, and since it's "arcade dry" up here in Canada, I was seriously considering it. Have fun, and have a drink (or a dozen) for me!

If it were driving distance I'd be there.  I just couldn't justify spending all that money to go play video games with a bunch of dudes I've never met.  Sounds like a kickass time though.

I've met some super cool peeps.  I was working on some KADE PCB designs (original console + arcade encoder) in the hotel lobby while my roommate slept off too many $1.00 beers.  The KLOV guys were pretty interested in our angle on the hobby.  I think I get a free pass because my converted cabs are Dynamo's. 
I like hanging out with the FGC and Shmups guys too. It is always fun to interface with folks who see something I love just a bit differently.
