Rowe CD 100E Amplifier Accessory Board Volume Control
« on: October 09, 2014, 09:35:43 pm »
I have a Rowe CD 100E jukebox. I recently purchased a used Amplifier Accessory Board part# 26694703 as suggested by the forum to play external music sources through the machine. I also purchased an adapter cord with two stereo jacks and a 3.5mm plug. I connected the jumpers on the board between J9-J14, J16-J11, J13-J20. I connect the appropriate Amplifier Interconnect and Microphone Interconnect cables paying attention to their respective pin address. I connected the stereo jacks to J6 and J8 and the other end with the 3.5mm plug into my Samsung S5. Everything works but the volume is limited as it's controlled by the phone and not the juke box. Is there an alternate connection config to operate volume with the jukebox control? Or perhaps I need to put an amp between the phone and auxiliary board. Basically I think everything is hooked up correctly but the volume is controlled by my phone and not the jukebox and i think my phone just doesn't have the umph, how do I make it as loud as the jukebox alone gets? I apologize if this topic has been covered, I looked for some time and could not find a solution. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
