Working on a Control Panel, Need Input
« on: September 15, 2014, 09:44:49 pm »
I'm starting new adventures in building an arcade panel, then eventually a new arcade build. I've learned a lot from my last build and would like to do some things differently on the next one. The two attached files are what I started with and where I'm at now. I need help with getting this layout correct. I PDF'd and printed this and it came out 47.5 inches instead of 48... Not sure what I'm missing/doing wrong. Any input is appreciated!

Layout I was aiming towards

The 3 big things I want:
4 players
Trackball
2 Joysticks for P1 & P2 (Smash TV)

Not sure which is the one you wanna use but there is no reason at all to have more than 4 buttons on P3/4.  Take a look at Malenko's MK4 -> Mame conversion for a layout that might work.  It is straight across so that P3/1 and P2/4 sticks get used for Smash TV.
