PCB swap
« on: September 04, 2014, 08:19:52 pm »
I currently have a dedicated Tekken cab. My question is the Tekken 3 PCB directly swappable with the Tekken 1 PCB? Can I just unplug the Jamma harness from 1 and plug it into 3?

According to KLOV, the pinout is a bit different.

Tekken uses a Namco System 11 JAMMA.

Tekken 3 uses regular JAMMA.

Ok thanks. I see Tekken 2 and Soul Edge 2 use Namco 11. Would it be worth it to get either of those for an upgrade?

the kick harness is different.   I have a Tekken 4 system 22 PCB with JAMMA IO I'd sell for a song.

its actually system 246, Im just dumb.   $170 shipped (its bulky and somewhat heavy) if you are in the US.  The Jamma I/O goes for $100 alone.
