In theory and very short - get yourself an eprom-burner, and burn a later rom bin-file.

Preferably you get a second set of chips, so that you can do a rollback if something goes wrong.
The rom files are the same as used in MAME.
So it shouldn't be that hard, and there should be people here that has done it.
Building, collecting and playing arcade machines :)

Are the roms easy to switch out? Sorry I know nothing about this kind of thing just starting to get into it.

yeah, just gently lift up with a small flat head screw driver.

Which rom version to you have?  If you have 2.1 then maybe its worth going from that to 4 or 4.1 but if youre at 4.0 I'd just stick with it.

Shipping something from the U.S. to Canada for repair/exchange?  Please use USPS to avoid (additional?/excessive?) shipping charges.  PM me if you have any questions.

Will the 4.1 allow the kids to do wheelies in the cars? I guess this version doesn't allow it.....
