Made my MAME control panel..

Actually finished it about a month ago but with six buttons instead of eight. We use it at the office and maybe 5-10 people a day play with it. So far very happy with the IPAC and the enclosure. The wiring could be a bit cleaner but I didn't have any of the sticky anchors to tie them down so left it as is now. Also recessed the joystick bolts so it is smooth from the top. Right now it is a Seimitsu LS-32 stick with Sanwa OBSF buttons.

Took a look at some carriage bolts online and most seem to have round tops. Did find some that are flat-top but they don't have the countersink which I put in there to get the tops of the bolts flush. On top of that... I would have to find metric ones because the countersink I cut is 90 degrees but most US countersunk bolts are 82 degrees. Probably would have to hunt around online for ones that would do the trick.

Nice!  What kind of enclosure is that?

The enclosure is made by hammond:

http://www.hammondmfg.com/dwg16.htm#10degree

I picked part no.: 1456RL1BKBU

They also have some without the incline... http://www.hammondmfg.com/dwg20.htm (steel) and http://www.hammondmfg.com/dwg21.htm (aluminum).

I was glad I went with aluminum as it was relatively easy to cut the holes. My hole saws say they are able to cut steel but I imagine it would have been more effort.

You can find them online most easily by searching for the part numbers. Found a number of places that had it for anywhere from $38-$50.

I don't like the marble countertop.
On forums jimmer speaks for himself as a Defender fan, not as proprietor of www.jbgaming.co.uk  << Is that advertising or disclosure ? or both ?
