Mala Hardware LCD Problem
« on: August 30, 2014, 06:37:49 pm »
Hello to all.
Before some years ago, I bought from Stefan a complete set of mala hardware. This include a pcb which support 16 led's and 1 lcd matrix display. He also support me the blue LCD with 4 x 20 characters.
I believe cause I am the last one person who bought one of those, because after that "buy hardware option" disappear from his site. Now I know cause new owner-developer is "loadman".

My subject is cause before some days LCD display quitting shows characters, except some square white symbols. For now have change only the CD4001 ic without any difference on LCD screen. Have someone propose a way to check if the problem was the screen or the micro controller?
And if finally I need a spare micro controller, where can I buy a new one?

Thanks,  Panos.
