Internet Connection On Your Jukebox
« on: August 11, 2014, 02:07:06 pm »
As the emphasis seems to more on adding features that are based around having your jukebox online I just wondered how many of you actually have yours connected.

Some of the Stuff I have are,
Live Football Scores fed to the LED sign
RSS Feeds for artists
Last FM Related song information.
Upload Jukebox Top 10 Facebook
Upload songs playing/played to Facebook

To me these things add a little more depth and usability I just wondered how many others had theirs connected, admittedly these might be of more use for commercial users.

Mine is connected to my network, and by extension the Internet, but I'm currently just using that connection for adding music and not Internet functionality. If I do implement E-Touch, I will more than likely use the Internet functionality.

We're now beta testing our free web-based video jukebox software 'ONE VIDEO'.

Easy jukebox solution which also allows users to select videos using any smartphone.

I know when I designed my jukebox that I purposely thought of some sort of wifi connection - mainly so I could easily upload new content easily. In the 18 month (long) construction I've also started streaming around the house and thought - why not the jukebox?
I'd only really intended to have a software interface to control the playing of the songs (show names albums/artist) etc but now in the stage of choosing some software to run on the jukebox I've noticed some handy extra features like album/artist info etc.
To round up - yes I'll be using internet with my jukebox.
Cheers
