Neo Geo AC Wiring - Please Help! Diagrams included.
« on: August 10, 2014, 12:22:24 pm »
I am just about to get my neo geo MVS 4 slot up and running, and I realized the previous owner gutted the original power supply. I am now lost as to how to wire this thing. I have looked around for 2 days and tried things, but nothing seems to work.... and I dont want to ruin my original monitor.

The plan is to hook it up to a PC running hyperspin, but I need the monitor to have power, and i want the whole thing to be turned on by the power switch. This is my second arcade machine i've fixed up, so i've been using my working one to reference the wiring on my neo geo.

On top of that, I have parts in the neo geo i've never seen before .... so if someone out there would be kinda enough to put this all together for me ... cuz im so lost now.  I've look at bob roberts, and other various diagrams ..... and after 2 days my brain has melted.

I have made a diagram of both my working blig blue cab, and my non-working neo geo .... everything is exact, colors, wires, and where they connect, as well as parts that arent hooked up but were inside the machine.

If you have any idea on what I need to do to get this to work please help!

I am thinking I need a new power supply and that fixes everything, but I dont want to spend any money if I dont have to. I do have at my disposal an old PC power supply, if that can be used, if you can, make a diagram about how i would wire that in. thanks!
