This model does NOT use the "lockdown brackets"---they went "back" to bolts--again. Ron Rich

Hopefully, the mech lock-down brackets are in the machine. They hold the
mech tight against the floor of the machine. Then you can lay it down after
removing the CD's and securing the CD clamp.
