  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
I am looking to expand my shooter library a bit, I have all the Mame shooters, and I have HOTD 2 & 3 (even though I can't get 2 guns to work correctly for it).  Are there any other emulators that support aimtrak guns? or games worth playing?

thanks

In addition to what's in my videos I've heard people having luck with Playstation 1 games on ePSXe but some plugins and configuration are required.  I imagine Dolphin could be a candidate as well.  Games like Ghost Squad and Target Terror are fun on Wii.

just realized that you are the guy who made those videos.  i've seen them before, they definitely made me want to get lightguns ;P

darth is there any trick to making the Troubleshooter work for HOTD? I can't seem to make it do anything.  In my aimtrak utility I have both guns set to mouse, and standard button configs, left mouse shoot, but 1/2 etc.

hotd3 I have both players set to use keyboard, also with default keyboard configs for the game.

What else do I have to do to make it work?

Are you talking about the PC version or the Model 2 version?

I tried setting up dolphin. For one player it works fine, but two is another story. When you try to setup two lightguns, the one controls both movements.

PC Version,  I reinstalled the software again... I can use the lightguns on the main menu of HOTD3, but once I start survival mode, nothing works. yet if i press ESC or Start and the "exit/continue" menu pops up, it works there, just not during gameplay.  sucks :(

Sorry, I only tried it with Model 2.  I would certainly try Howard's original thread for this:
