PC to Scart TV via USB2Gun interface questions

I'm hoping to connect a 25" Sony Trinitron KV-X2502U Scart/RGB TV to a PC via a USB2gun interface, as a temporary measure until I get a replacement Arcade Monitor.
The USB2Gun works with frequencies from CGA (15.75khz) upto XGA  (37.5khz). See page 4;

Does this mean it can convert frequencies from VGA to CGA?
There is a set of Jumpers on the USB2Gun as well marked as CGA, EGA, VGA and Err. These are open by default.

If I were to set the jumpers to CGA and construct and connect this cable between TV and USB2Gun;

Would this output the correct frequencies for the TV to display it?

I don't really want to try it unless I know for sure its not going to damage the USB2Gun board.
